Dr. Prabhakar completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Toronto, residency in Anesthesiology at the University of British Columbia, and Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at Dalhousie University. He is currently a consultant anesthesiologist and Director of the Regional Anesthesia Program at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of British Columbia. He grew up in Ontario, but currently lives in Vancouver with his wife and three young children.
