In this video Dr. Brandon Winchester demonstrates the use of an Accuro device for the placement of an ultrasound-assisted spinal anesthetic for a unicondylar knee replacement. The Accuro uses calculated 3D overlay graphics to allow the practitioner to make neuraxial placement easier by identifying the location of the midline & interlaminar space in the cranio-caudal axis (and avoidance of spinous process); predicting depth to the spinous process and interlaminar epidural space; and estimating the needle insertion angle.
